SafeGram.one ("we," "our," or "us") operates the SafeGram mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our App.

By using SafeGram, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.

02 — INFORMATION WE COLLECT

What We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

  • Account Information: Email address and password when you register
  • Device Information: Device model, OS version, unique device identifiers
  • Usage Data: Features used, scan history, app interactions
  • File Metadata: File names, sizes, and hash values for security scanning (not file content)
  • URL Data: URLs submitted for security analysis
  • Payment Information: Transaction reference names submitted for plan verification (no card numbers stored)
Important: We do NOT read the actual content of your personal files or messages. Only metadata and hash values are used for threat detection.

Use of Information

Your information is used to:

  • Provide and maintain the security scanning service
  • Detect malware, viruses, and malicious URLs
  • Process subscription payments and manage your account
  • Send important security alerts and service notifications
  • Improve detection accuracy and app performance
  • Comply with legal obligations
04 — ACCESSIBILITY SERVICE

Accessibility Permission

SafeGram uses Android's Accessibility Service to monitor links and files shared through messaging applications (Telegram, WhatsApp, and others) for real-time threat detection.

Scope: This permission is used exclusively for security scanning. We do not read, store, or transmit the content of your private messages. The service only inspects URLs and file references for known threat signatures.

You may disable this permission at any time through Android Settings → Accessibility → SafeGram. Disabling it will turn off real-time messenger protection.

05 — THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

Third Parties

We use the following third-party services:

  • VirusTotal API — File hash and URL threat scanning
  • Firebase (Google) — Authentication and database storage

These services have their own privacy policies. We recommend reviewing them. We do not sell your data to any third party.

06 — DATA RETENTION & SECURITY

Security & Retention

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS), Firebase security rules restricting data access, and regular security reviews.

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.

Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the SafeGram.one mobile application. By downloading, installing, or using SafeGram, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

02 — THE SERVICE

What SafeGram Provides

SafeGram is a mobile security application that provides:

  • File scanning for malware and viruses
  • URL checking for malicious links
  • Real-time protection for messaging applications
  • Threat detection powered by VirusTotal
No guarantees: SafeGram provides threat detection to the best of its ability but cannot guarantee 100% detection of all threats. Users should maintain safe digital practices alongside using the App.
03 — SUBSCRIPTIONS & PAYMENTS

Pricing & Plans

SafeGram offers paid subscription plans with different protection levels (70%, 90%, 99%) for file scanning, URL checking, and messenger protection.

Payment Process:

  • Select your desired plan within the App
  • Transfer the subscription fee to the provided payment details
  • Submit your name as a payment reference
  • Our team manually verifies and activates your plan within 24 hours

Subscriptions are non-refundable once the plan has been activated. In case of a dispute, please contact us with your transaction reference.

04 — ACCEPTABLE USE

Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the App
  • Use the App for any illegal purpose
  • Attempt to bypass subscription restrictions
  • Share your account credentials with others
  • Use automated tools to abuse the scanning service
05 — ACCOUNT SUSPENSION

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent payment activity, or abuse the service.

You may delete your account at any time by contacting our support team.

06 — DISCLAIMER

Limitation of Liability

SafeGram is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, SafeGram.one shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the App, including but not limited to data loss or security breaches resulting from threats not detected by the App.

07 — CHANGES

Updates to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or an in-app notification. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
